Earlier this month we contacted a fantastic local Kerikeri group known as “The Men’s Shed”. Its a local group of mostly retired men and women who get together for friendship, laughs and while they are at it they make a range of great products from just about any material you can imagine.

We took a rough idea we made in our garage of a plank of wood with holes in it to hold up to five different salt flavours, and from there Sigit, a talented member of the Shed team, came back to us with this quality product that we have now decided to call a “Salt Raft”.
